How to improve the adoption and scale of your AI innovation in the NHS
Why do promising medical innovations struggle to gain traction in the NHS and how can organisations foster confidence, alignment and adoption?
“By embracing technological advancements, we can both make substantial savings for the taxpayer and build a health service fit for the 21st Century.”
Wes Streeting, MP, Secretary of State for Health and Social Care.
I’m grateful to have been invited to write and publish a research paper at the Royal College of Surgeon’s Bulletin Journal. I outlined approaches I feel would improve the chances of adoption of your AI innovation in the NHS based on my experiences of leading adoption and scale in the NHS.
The three topics I’ve focused the article on are:
solving the right problem for the organisation;
developing confidence in the innovation; and
resourcing and return on investment.
